Giant Norfolk solar farm to power 16,000 homes given the go

The project, known as the JAFA Solar Farm, will be built on roughly 254 acres of land, west of Palgrave Road and between the villages of Great Dunham and Little Dunham, near Swaffham in Norfolk.

This first of its kind in Nebraska demonstration project, developed by Sol Systems for the City of Norfolk, is an 8.5-megawatt (MW) community solar farm paired with a 1 MW/2MWh battery storage component. The solar farm is both the largest solar project and first large-scale battery storage project in the state of Nebraska.
